Join the FEMA Think Tank
FEMA established a Think Tank in 2011 to explore best practices and generate new ideas for emergency management. The Think Tank is open to state, local, and tribal governments, and to all members of the public, including the private sector, the disability community, and volunteer community.
The FEMA Think Tank is composed of an Online Forum where anyone can submit and comment on ideas and monthly conference calls that focus on three to four ideas generated from the online forum that address improving emergency management at the federal level.
The first Think Tank conference call took place in January 2012 and had over 650 participants.
The monthly call is open to all who share an interest in improving the Nation’s capacity in emergency management. For those who cannot join in on the call, you can follow the conversation and ask questions on Twitter using the hashtag #femathinktank.
The next FEMA Think Tank Conference Call is scheduled for Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 12:00 PM EST. The theme for the discussion is innovative solutions in emergency management.
